Outside of being a loving wife as well as an unwavering mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Gina Renee Brown, who the world affectionately knew as Gee Gee, was a lifelong service woman when it came to extending her heart and using her hands in an effort to help others. From a grass roots perspective, Mrs. Gina Brown was a dedicated advocate for drug and alcohol treatment. After being blessed to champion fifteen years of sobriety, Mrs. Gina Brown was promoted to Executive Director of "The Center for Spirituality a Twelve Step Recovery", which was a nonprofit organization that specialized in drug and alcohol treatment as well as a holistic approach in terms of implementing sustainable life skills. When it came to choosing sides, as a licensed Missionary Evangelist and ordained Elder, Mrs. Gina Brown made it crystal clear that she chose God's side. When speaking on who Mrs. Gina Brown was and continues to be, although she had many titles, they will never quite tell her story. There isn't one title that could adequately highlight Mrs. Gina Brown's significance or influence, on whom ever was blessed to share space with her. At her going home celebration her son said it best when acknowledging his mom, and I quote "Through imperfections and flaws Gee Gee rose to be a perfect picture of humanity. For sixty-four years she exemplified unconditional love while teaching us all that it is much better to give than to receive." As an effortless and extremely blessed philanthropist, Mrs. Gina Brown's ultimate blessing, was her heart. Mrs. Gina Brown was a true humanitarian who had a unique awareness, as well as an acute understanding, when it came to capturing the genuine essence, of truly paying it forward. In following those huge footsteps in terms of paying it forward, Sisters Helping Sisters Win proudly presents the Helping Hands Scholarship, in honor of Mrs. Gina Renee Brown
